In the mobile version of Call of Duty 2, you take the roles of various soldiers fighting through World War II. There's four years (1942-1945), each one with two soldiers to choose from, each with their own set of missions. Everything but the first missions are locked, and you have to complete them to unlock the later ones, eventually unlocking the next year as soon as you finish every mission in the earlier one.

The missions can vary wildly, from location to objective and weapons. In some missions you have a team of soldiers to help you out, in others you have to work solo. You'll be instructed along the mission on what to do, as well as receiving hints and tips on how to do it. You may have to take down enemy troops, call in airstrikes, hide from bomber attacks, destroy enemy vehicles or even be left all alone sniping enemy units. The time you take to beat the mission is stored so you can try to beat the default "best time" or your own best time.

The game works in a pseudo top-down view, since the game works like a 2D top-down but the scenario is rather 3D. Most of the maps are similar, having you start on the bottom and having to make your way up to the top to progress through the mission. You can crawl under sandbags or hide behind buildings for cover, and sometimes there's medics spread around to assist you. The weapons are varied, from pistols, machine guns, sniper, bazooka or even a walkie-talkie to call in airstrikes. Most of the weapons simply fire forward, but to help you aim, some can "auto-point" at nearby targets, and others have a reticule that you move around with the D-Pad.

Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII is an action role-playing third-person shooter. As the first shooter game in the Final Fantasy series, the action is viewed from an over-the-shoulder perspective similar to Resident Evil 4, although players can switch to a first-person perspective if they wish. Defeating enemies yields EXP, and at the end of each stage, the player can either use that EXP to level up, increasing Vincent's stats, or convert it to Gil (the in-game currency), which can then be used to purchase items and equipment upgrades.

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams is the sixth installment of Capcom's Onimusha series and the fourth game in the canonical main series. While the game retains the action elements from previous Onimusha titles, it offers a wider variety of weapons and the option to return to earlier stages to unlock new content. The game also introduces a 3D camera and the ability to continuously fight alongside AI-controlled characters that follow the player's orders. Capcom announced Dawn of Dreams in response to high fan demand and after several Capcom members realized they could expand Onimusha's action elements following their work on Shadow of Rome. The game was designed to appeal to skilled gamers rather than the general market, resulting in designs that prioritize appeal over realism.

A remake of The Legend of Heroes V: Umi no Oriuta, later localized for North America in 2007 under the title, "The Legend of Heroes III: Song of the Ocean." The trilogies titles have been changed in North America to match a mistake in the title of previously released games. Because of this the trilogies order was mixed up.

This takes place in Weltluna, the third realm in Gagharv, seven years after "A Tear of Vermillion" and forty-nine years before "Moonlight Witch". It centers around Forte, Una and McBain and their quest in seeking Leone's Resonance Stones.

25 to Life is designed to place the online tactical action of a squad-based shooter in open urban settings that are reminiscent of the latter-day Grand Theft Auto games. Through two parallel perspectives on the same ongoing conflict, 25 to Life offers play as either a law enforcement officer or a streetwise gangsta. In either case, players are equipped with the tools of their respective trades; cops can make use of their superior training with firearms or call for helicopter air support, while gang members can choose from a wider selection of weapons and use civilian hostages as human shields.

The game was built with online play in mind, and several multiplayer modes are supported. Players can customize their characters with tattoos, brand-name apparel, and other accessories, then take them online to join others for team deathmatch-style competition. A full-fledged single-player campaign is also included, casting players in the role of an urban up-and-comer who finds trouble on both sides of the thin blue line. The plot of the single-player game was written by P. Frank Williams, known for his successes as an author, magazine editor, and television producer. The game's soundtrack features selections by rap artists Mos Def, DMX, Ghostface Killah, and others.
